BIG BEEF DANCE THEATRE
Formed by Marc Dodi in 2008, Big Beef Dance Theatre aims to make Dance an accessible art form for all to enjoy. They have enjoyed success as part of Resolutions! '09, '10, Create '09 at the Arcola Theatre, Brighton Fringe '09, '10 and at the Basement, Brighton."
“ A game is a structured activity usually undertaken for enjoyment & sometimes used as an educational tool.”
Through the presentation of four games, gaME+YOU demonstrates and discusses the interplay between relationships which we decide, and that which are decided for us.
Using “The Game” by Neil Strauss and the exploration of board, card and co-ordination games as inspiration, Big Beef Dance Theatre presents an entertaining structured improvisation based upon games, placed within a game, that being the piece itself.
Structured movement is taken from recognised dance duets from a range of genres such as filmic, folk, ballroom and musical. It is within these dance styles that a conscious/planned relationship is established between both performers.
Music by - Vanessa Carlton, Prince, Paul Weller, Chuck Berry, The Contours, Kenny Rogers, John Travolta and Olivia Newton John, Deborah Kerr and Yul Brennar, Michael and Janet Jackson, B*witched, Billy Ray Cyrus.
Dancers - Ruth Bruce, Sammy Dodds, Holly Grayling, Lottie Selwyn and Danielle Walker.
COLLISIONS DANCE COMPANY
Founded by Dave Beer, CDC will be performing their work Inertia, which was originally choreographed as part of Collisions 2010 mixed bill 'Inertwine' which is premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, at The Zoo Roxy on the 6th-29th August 2010.
Inertia refers to matters tendency when at rest to remain un-moving, or when moving in a straight-line to continue in that pathway unless influenced by an external force, social inertia is societies un-willingness to change. With all these natural and social tendencies to remain, any movement is amazing and the effortless beauty that dance creates is actually a constant battle.
Set to the beguiling works of Ludovico Einaudi, this contemporary ballet by Collisions Dance Company, Artistic Director, David Beer explores various forms of Inertia and how they can influence our bodies and the bodies of those around us.

Tempered Body Dance Company has been the resident company of Chisenhale Dance Space since 2009.
In 'Entangled', TBDC will be premiering 'Body Of Work', Wynne-Jones’
