As the central feature of our professional development and training opportunities, Tempered Body Dance Theatre is delighted to be able to offer a small number of individuals the chance to take part in our apprenticeship courses. Our aim is to give some dancers the much needed experience to support the transition from training to the professional dance world.

Over a period of 6 weeks, the individuals meet each week to form a sub-company that echoes the practices of TBDT. Each session begins with an intensive technique class, followed by a workshop led either by an external practitioner or a member of the company, on an aspect of dance creation and performance. The session concludes with an in-depth look at an area of career managment, from CV writing and Showreels to mastering the audition process.
